Sam Small Producer, Director, Shooter, Editor, Writer

30 years of wide ranging production experience. Multi-hyphenated kind of guy, I write, shoot, edit, direct, and produce. National television advertising, branding, retail and marketing strategies, ad campaign design. Documentary storytelling on complex subjects. Feature Stories, Candids, EPKs, Live Music.

Former VP of Broadcast Production at Prudential Financial where I built and ran an in-house commercial production department, directing and editing 250+ national spots – twice appearing during the Super Bowl.

Major corporate image projects for The NY Times, AT&T, Sony and Parade Magazine allowed me to define a personal directing and editorial style to tell densely-woven stories using real-people interviews mixed with natural sound, relying on little or no narration.
